Dating back to the mid-1840's, Castroville, Texas is a historic community that strives to preserve its cultural heritage and unique Alsatian architecture. Working as Castroville's Historic Preservation Officer, Work5hop's role is to review proposed projects located in historic districts, as well as provide recommendations to the Historic Landmark Commission and help lead initiatives for public outreach. Work5hop also serves as the city’s Certified Local Government Representative for the Texas Historical Commission.
