Together with HiWorks Architecture, we created preservation documentation for the Big Bend National Park Hot Springs post office and motor court, both built in 1927 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The post office, which also served as the general store, operated until 1952; the motor court hosted visitors to the hot springs. Our scope included restoration of historic windows, doors, and frames; repair to the interior plaster; rehabilitation of existing roofing; and repair to masonry.
